Answer: Tucson International Airport (TUS) is 2.5 hours to the west; El Paso Int'l Airport (ELP) is 3.5 hours to the east. Answer: We do not offer Internet connection at Quailway Cottage, but there is wifi connection at the Portal library and at Sky Gypsy Complex, NM.

Answer: The nearest towns with small stores are Portal, AZ (5.5 miles) and Rodeo, NM
(4.5 miles). Major grocery stores are in Douglas, AZ, Willcox, AZ, and Deming, NM.
Answer: Quailway Cottage has a fully-furnished kitchen.
Question: Where can I purchase gas? Question: Is there a barbeque?
Answer: Major gas stations are in Douglas, AZ and along I-10. Currently the gas station on I-10 at Exit 5 (Road Forks, NM) is not open. There are no gas stations currently operating in Rodeo, NM or in Portal, AZ. Answer: Quailway Cottage has a gas grill.
Question: How far is Quailway Cottage from the road? Question: Is there phone service?
Answer: The Quailway Cottage driveway connects directly to Portal Road. Answer: There is no phone at Quailway Cottage. You may use the phone at the Caretaker's house in case of an emergency.
Question: How much privacy will I have? Are there other units? Question: Do cell phones work on the property?
Answer: Quailway cottage is a standalone unit and it is the only guesthouse on the property. Answer: Verizon cell phone coverage is available. Cell phone service for other networks is not reliable in this area.

Answer: We offer both a Satellite (DirecTV) television and DVD player at Quailway Cottage. Answer: Call 911 for Portal Rescue or go across the street to Bill and Jill Cavaliere's home for assistance.
